Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy (PDR) is an eye condition caused by diabetes that can lead to vision issues. This study compares two treatment methods: faricimab + PRP and vitrectomy + endolaser. Faricimab is a medication injected into the eye, while PRP (Panretinal Photocoagulation) is a laser treatment. Vitrectomy is a surgery to remove some parts of the eye, and endolaser is another type of laser treatment used during this surgery.
The study will last 3 years and will look at how well each treatment works, how many treatments are needed, and any complications. Participants must be 18 or older and have diabetes with PDR needing treatment.
- Participants will visit the study site several times over 3 years.
- There may be some risks, like eye discomfort or surgery complications.
- Participants will receive compensation for their time and travel.
