Phase 3
E-Mindfulness Approaches for Living After Breast Cancer is a study for young breast cancer survivors. These survivors had breast cancer before age 50 and finished their main treatments like surgery or chemotherapy at least 6 months ago. This study wants to see if mindfulness, which is a way to focus and relax the mind, can help improve their mood and mental health. There are two ways to do this mindfulness: one with a live teacher over Zoom, and another using an app on your phone or tablet. The study will check which way works best and who benefits the most from it. They also want to know if the programs are worth the cost and how personal factors like race or education affect the results.
  • It's a 6-week program where participants learn mindfulness.
  • Participants need to use a smartphone or tablet to join.
  • Participants must speak English or Spanish and be willing to join the study.
