Study Purpose: This study is testing a medicine called KarXT. It is given as a shot in the muscle to help people with schizophrenia, a mental health condition that affects how a person thinks, feels, and behaves.

Eligibility: To join, participants must have schizophrenia, not other mental disorders, and have a specific range of symptoms. They must also stop taking other similar medicines before starting. Participants must not have newly diagnosed schizophrenia, other mental health issues, recent substance abuse, or be at risk of harm. Women must not be pregnant or breastfeeding.

  • Duration & Visits: The study requires multiple visits over a specific period. Participants will need to stop other schizophrenia medications during the study.
  • Safety & Risks: The study will check for any side effects from the KarXT injection.
  • Compensation: Participants may receive payment for their time and travel.

This study aims to find out the best dose and safety level of KarXT for treating schizophrenia. Participants' health will be closely monitored throughout the study. It's important to discuss with a doctor if joining is right for you.
