Recruiting
18-75 years
All
Phase 3
This study checks if a medicine called **dotinurad** works better than another medicine called **allopurinol** for adults with **gout**. Gout is a type of arthritis that causes sudden pain and swelling in the joints. The study focuses on lowering **serum uric acid (sUA)**, which is linked to gout. Uric acid is a chemical in the blood, and if it's too high, it can cause gout. To join the study, you need to be between 18 and 75 years old and have had gout for at least a year. You should have had at least two gout attacks in the past year and be taking a stable dose of allopurinol already. You can't join if you have had kidney stones recently, certain cancers, or allergies to the study drugs.
  • **Study lasts 24 weeks** with multiple visits to the clinic.
  • Participants must use contraception during and after the study.
  • Potential risks include drug allergies or effectiveness concerns.
