This study tests a device called the Anaconda ANA Funnel Catheter to help treat strokes caused by large blocked blood vessels. **Mechanical thrombectomy** is a procedure that removes clots from blood vessels in the brain. The ANA device helps doctors navigate other devices during this procedure and temporarily stops blood flow to make the clot removal more effective. The study compares the ANA device to standard treatments using stent retrievers, which are tiny tube-like devices that help remove clots.
**Eligibility**: Participants must be aged 22 to 85, have new stroke symptoms, and be treatable within 16 hours of symptom onset. Some exclusions include recent strokes, certain health conditions, or being unable to attend follow-ups.
- **Length of Study**: The study requires follow-ups for 90 days.
- **Visits Needed**: Regular check-ups and imaging tests are part of the study.
- **Risks**: There could be risks associated with the procedure and the use of the device.
