Phase 2

This study looks at how well a medicine called Taplucainium Inhalation Powder (NOC-110) works for adults with a long-lasting cough that isn't explained or doesn't get better with treatment. About 455 people will be part of this study, which lasts around 13 weeks. A "randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled" study means that participants are randomly chosen to receive either the real medicine or a fake one (placebo), and neither the participants nor the researchers know who gets which.

  • The study lasts for approximately 13 weeks.
  • Participants must have had a chronic cough for over 12 months.
  • Women must use birth control, and men must agree to use contraceptive methods.

Participants should not have been in a similar study recently, have certain lung diseases, or be pregnant. Other exclusions include recent respiratory infections, certain medical conditions, and a history of drug or alcohol issues. If you qualify and agree to participate, you'll need to follow certain rules and visit the study site as needed.
