Phase N/A
**Proton and Photon Consortium Registry (PPCR)** is a study to gather information on children treated with radiation therapy for cancer. Radiation therapy uses high-energy rays to kill cancer cells. There are two types: Proton Beam Radiation Therapy (PBRT) and Photon Therapy. **Proton Therapy** is known to precisely target cancer, reducing long-term side effects. However, there isn't much data published on its benefits. The study aims to compare both therapies by collecting information on patients’ treatments and outcomes. If you join, your treatments and check-ups will be recorded. The study will track your progress annually. **Key data collected** includes: your demographics, diagnosis, treatments received, side effects, and long-term health status. **Eligibility:** You must be under 22 and receiving radiation at a participating center. You can join even if you have had other treatments or are in other studies. **Considerations:** - **Participation Duration:** Lifetime follow-up annually. - **Data Privacy:** Data may be shared with other researchers. - **Benefits/Risks:** No direct benefit, but helps future research. Minimal risk from data sharing. Note: Participation helps researchers understand the best treatments for future patients.
