Isolated Dystonia Study

This study observes individuals with isolated dystonia, a movement disorder affecting multiple body parts. The study's goal is to understand how dystonia affects people's lives and its changes over time. No treatment is given; it's purely observational. Doctors use scales to measure symptoms and see how they impact well-being, pain, and social life. This helps in planning future studies.

  • Participation involves: No treatment is given; the study is observational.
  • Eligibility: Ages 12-65 with isolated dystonia for at least a year.
  • Exclusions include: Focal dystonia, certain surgical histories, or significant health issues.

Participants will be asked to sign a consent form, confirming they understand and agree to the study's requirements. The study is not suitable for those with other types of dystonia or significant health issues that could compromise safety or scientific objectives.
