Phase 2

Study Goal: To see if a medicine called lorundrostat helps people with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and high blood pressure. OSA is when breathing stops and starts during sleep.

Study Details: This study has different parts: Participants first get checked for 4 weeks to see if they qualify. Then, two 4-week periods with lorundrostat or a fake pill (placebo) are done, with a 2-week break in between. Participants aged 18-75 with moderate to severe OSA and high blood pressure can join. Those using a machine called a positive airway pressure (PAP) device at night can join if they use it for more than 4 hours each night and have been doing so for at least 3 months.

  • The study lasts about 10 weeks, including check-ups and treatment periods.
  • Participants must use birth control during the study and for 28 days after.
  • You can't join if you have diabetes, certain surgeries, or other specific health conditions.
