Researchers are testing a new vaccine, called V540D, to see if it can protect against more types of HPV (human papillomavirus) than the current vaccine, GARDASIL®9 (G9). HPV is a virus that can sometimes lead to cancers, although most people’s immune systems can fight it off. The main aim is to check if V540D is safe and if people can tolerate it well.
Eligibility: To join, you must be in good health as shown by a health check, including tests like ECGs (which checks your heart). You cannot join if you've had abnormal Pap smears, HPV-related genital issues, or cancer. Also, if you've already had an HPV vaccine or plan to get one outside the study, you cannot participate.
- The study involves healthy adults who have not received an HPV vaccine.
- Participants will undergo medical examinations to ensure they are healthy.
- The study focuses on the safety and tolerance of the new vaccine V540D.
