Tirzepatide Study for Adolescents with Obesity

This study looks at how the medicine tirzepatide helps teens with obesity and other related health issues. Obesity is when someone has too much body fat. Some health issues related to obesity are high blood pressure, prediabetes, and high triglycerides, which is a type of fat in the blood. The study lasts up to 76 weeks and might need up to 23 visits to the study site. Teens who took part in a previous study called the GPIX and stopped treatment less than 12 weeks ago can join for an extra 156 weeks of treatment with tirzepatide.
