Phase N/A

This study is about using the RapidPulseTM Aspiration System to help people who have acute ischemic stroke. A stroke happens when blood flow to the brain is blocked. This study will test if it's safe and works well to remove the blockage within 8 hours of stroke symptoms starting. The process used is called mechanical thrombectomy, which is a procedure to remove a clot in the brain. People in the study will be checked for 90 days to see how they are doing.

  • Length of Study: Participation lasts for 90 days, with multiple check-ups.
  • Eligibility: Ages 18-80, must be treated within 8 hours of stroke symptoms, and need to meet certain health criteria.
  • Risks: There might be risks like symptomatic ICH (bleeding in the brain) after the procedure.

To be part of this study, participants must have a specific type of blockage in the brain's blood vessels and should be able to start treatment quickly. They should not have certain other conditions, like bleeding in the brain or severe artery disease. Participation means multiple visits, including check-ups at 24 hours and around 5-7 days after the procedure.
