Phase 3

This study looks at a new treatment for people with a type of lung cancer called Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) that has a specific gene change, known as KRAS G12C mutation. The study compares a new drug, adagrasib, combined with other treatments like pembrolizumab (a medicine that helps the immune system fight cancer) and chemotherapy, against a placebo (a harmless pill) plus the same other treatments. This is for patients who haven't had treatment for their advanced lung cancer yet.

  • Study Length: Expect multiple visits for treatment and observation.
  • Eligibility: Must have a specific type of lung cancer and gene mutation, with no prior treatment for advanced disease.
  • Risks: Includes typical chemotherapy risks; certain health conditions may exclude participation.

To join, your cancer must be confirmed by tests like CT or MRI. If you have any autoimmune diseases or specific heart issues, you might not be able to participate. This study is important to find better ways to treat lung cancer.
