This study is for adults aged 50 and older. It checks the safety (to see if it causes problems) and immunogenicity (how well it boosts your body's defense) of two vaccines: RSVpreF for respiratory syncytial virus (a virus that causes lung infections) and HZ/su for herpes zoster (also known as shingles). If you have health conditions that are stable, you may join. However, if you have had shingles in the past year or certain health issues, you cannot participate.
- The study is open-label, meaning both you and the researchers know which vaccines you get.
- If you’ve had certain vaccines before, or are immunocompromised (weakened immune system), you cannot join.
- Participants should not expect compensation.
Think about joining if you want to help researchers learn how these vaccines work together. Always talk to your doctor before participating in any study.
