Study Summary: This trial looks at a virtual exercise program called RISE for young brain tumor survivors. The study aims to see if RISE can help with cancer-related cognitive impairment (CRCI), which affects attention and memory, and improve overall physical activity. CRCI can make daily life harder and affect school and work. Exercise might also change the gut microbiome, which is a collection of tiny organisms in our intestines that might improve brain function.
Participants will join one of two groups. One group will do aerobic and strength exercises at home, with some coaching, for 12 weeks. The other group will receive weekly calls from a trainer and wear a fitness tracker for 12 weeks.
- The program lasts for 12 weeks, with follow-ups at week 18.
- Participants need to be between 15-39 years old with a history of brain tumor and other specific health criteria.
- The study will help understand how exercise impacts brain function and gut health.
Participation could improve physical and mental health and contribute to important research. Make sure you meet the health criteria and are comfortable using a smartphone app before enrolling.
