Phase 3

This study looks at how a drug called **retatrutide** can help people with obesity keep weight off after losing it. Retatrutide is being tested to see if it helps maintain weight loss. The study lasts about 125 weeks (which is a little over 2 years). During the first 80 weeks, everyone will take a specific dose of retatrutide. After that, for the next 36 weeks, participants will be randomly given either the same dose of retatrutide, a different dose, or a placebo (a pill with no medicine) without knowing which one they’re getting (this is called double-blinded).

**Key Points**:

  • **Duration**: The study lasts about 125 weeks in total.
  • **Eligibility**: Participants must have obesity and have tried unsuccessfully to lose weight through diet before.
  • **Exclusions**: People with certain health conditions, recent significant weight changes, or who have used weight loss treatments recently cannot join.

Participants should consider the time commitment and any potential health risks before joining. Always consult with a healthcare provider to make an informed decision.
