Phase N/A

The THRIVE Trial is a study for kids with cerebral palsy (CP), a condition that affects movement. About 60% of kids with CP have trouble using their arms. To help with this, kids need to do a lot of exercises. The study uses a special system called "THRIVE," which includes a robot and virtual reality (VR) games, to make exercises fun and motivating at home. The robot acts like a playmate, showing kids how to move correctly and giving feedback. The goal is to improve arm function and keep kids engaged in their exercises.

Key Points:

  • Participants must be between 5 and 21 years old and have CP.
  • The study will not include kids who had recent surgery or have severe attention issues.
  • Parents need to support the exercise program at home.

By participating, kids might find exercises more fun and see better improvements in their arm use. The study hopes to make this system a great way for kids with CP to exercise at home, with parents' help.
