This study is for girls and women aged 12 and older to test a medicine called gepotidacin. It helps treat uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs). A UTI is when bad bacteria infect the bladder, causing pain when peeing, needing to go often or urgently, and lower belly pain. Participants must have a body weight of at least 40 kilograms (about 88 pounds). If you stay in a nursing home, have certain health conditions, or take specific medications, you might not be able to join. Before joining, you'll need to show signs of infection through a urine test. During the study, you'll take gepotidacin pills and visit the doctor regularly. They will check if the medicine helps and make sure it's safe for you. If you have allergies to the medicine or other serious health issues, this study might not be right for you.
