This study is checking if a medicine called VX-993 can help with pain from a condition called Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN). DPN is when people with diabetes have nerve damage that causes pain, usually in the feet or legs. The study will look at how well the medicine works, if it is safe, and if people can handle taking it.

To join, you need to have type 1 or 2 diabetes with HbA1c (a measure of blood sugar) ≤ 9%, and have pain in both legs for at least 1 year. You cannot join if you have had heart problems needing special treatment or a serious heart event like a heart attack or stroke in the last year.

  • This study involves taking the medication and having regular check-ups.
  • Participants will be monitored to ensure the medicine is safe for them.
  • It's important to talk to your doctor to see if joining is right for you.
