Phase 3

This study is testing a new medicine called BNC210 to see if it helps people with social anxiety feel less anxious during a test. Social anxiety disorder is when someone feels very nervous in social settings. The study compares one dose of BNC210 to a placebo, which is a "fake" medicine with no active ingredients. Researchers will check how much anxiety is reduced using the Subjective Units of Distress Scale (SUDS).

This study is carefully designed so neither the doctors nor the participants know who is getting BNC210 or the placebo. Participants must visit the clinic twice and have one follow-up call after a week. The first visit is to check if you can join the study, and the second is to take the medicine and do the test. This study is for adults diagnosed with social anxiety disorder and other specific criteria.

  • Participants will visit the clinic twice and have one follow-up call.
  • Participants must not have certain mental health conditions or use certain medications.
  • The study lasts about a week, and it is important to meet all criteria to join.
