This study is about using Virtual Reality (VR) to help kids learn and grow in afterschool programs. VR is a technology that lets people experience things as if they are in a different place. Kids can use VR to join afterschool programs from home, even if they can't go to the actual location. This helps them learn social and emotional skills in a safe environment. The study aims to see if using VR makes kids more interested and improves their mental health.

  • The study is for kids aged 9-17 in the Chess & Community program.
  • Kids must be able to wear a VR headset.
  • It tests if VR helps kids feel better and learn more.

If you're part of the study, you might have to use VR at home and attend some sessions. This could help you learn better and feel happier.
