Testing the safety and effects of NORA520 for severe postpartum depression.

Recruiting
18-45 years
Female
Phase 2

This study tests a new medicine, NORA520, for helping women with severe postpartum depression (PPD). PPD is a type of depression that some women experience after having a baby. The study looks at how well the medicine works, what side effects it may have, and how it affects the body and breastmilk. Women in the study will be split into three groups, and everyone will take the medicine for three days.

  • Participants are adult women aged 18-45 years, willing to stop breastfeeding temporarily.
  • The study lasts for 14 days, but the medicine is taken for only 3 days.
  • Participants cannot have certain mental health disorders or past issues with depression treatments.

It's important to know if you're eligible and comfortable with the study requirements before joining. Participants must be willing to follow all study rules and attend scheduled visits. If accepted, women cannot breastfeed during a specific period, need a negative pregnancy test before starting, and should not have certain health issues.
