This study looks at improving heart health for women with a condition called "calcified coronary artery disease." This is when the heart's blood vessels become blocked by hard, calcium-filled plaques. The study will use a procedure called coronary IVL (intravascular lithotripsy) to help remove these plaques, along with placing stents to keep the vessels open. Up to 400 women will take part, and the study will be conducted in different locations in the US, UK, and Europe.
Participants need to be women who are over 18 years old, not pregnant, and who need the procedure. They must agree to check-ups before leaving the hospital and then again after 30 days, 1 year, 2 years, and 3 years.
- The study lasts 3 years with several follow-up visits.
- Participants must be willing to follow the study's rules and attend all follow-ups.
- Women with serious health issues or those in another study cannot participate.
