This study looks at narcolepsy, a condition that makes people very sleepy during the day. It aims to see if switching from high-sodium oxybate to a low-sodium version called XYWAV affects blood pressure. Sodium is a type of salt, and too much can raise blood pressure. Understanding these changes helps doctors and patients make better treatment choices.
To join the study, you must be 18 to 70 years old and have been taking high-sodium oxybate for at least six weeks. If you take other medicines, like stimulants or blood pressure drugs, you must keep the same doses during the study. You can’t participate if you have certain heart problems or unstable medical conditions.
- The study observes changes in blood pressure.
- Participants must continue their current medication doses.
- Risk of not joining if you have serious heart or health issues.
