Phase N/A

This study looks at ways to help young people who got hurt in a fight and went to the Emergency Department (ED). There are two types of remote therapy interventions (RTI) being tested: Standard RTI (S-RTI) and Artificial Intelligence RTI (AI-RTI). RTI is therapy done through phone or computer. The AI-RTI uses a computer program called reinforcement learning (RL) to decide the best therapy method. **750 youth (ages 14-24)** will be in the study. They'll be divided into groups: S-RTI, AI-RTI, and control group (no RTI). Participants must have a smartphone and be able to get texts and internet. They will be assessed at 6 and 12 months.

  • The study lasts for up to 12 months with several sessions.
  • Participants are randomly placed into groups to try different treatments.
  • Daily assessments are required throughout the study.

Why should I take part in a clinical trial?

Participating in a clinical trial provides early access to potentially effective treatments and directly contributes to the healthcare advancements that benefit us all.

How long does a clinical trial take place?

The duration of clinical trials varies. Some trials last weeks, some years, depending on the phase and intention of the trial.

Do I get compensated for taking part in clinical trials?
