Phase N/A

Knee osteoarthritis (OA) is a condition where the knee joint becomes painful and stiff. This study is checking two treatments for knee OA: **genicular artery embolization (GAE)** using **Embosphere Microspheres** and **steroid injections**. GAE is a procedure where tiny beads are used to block blood flow to reduce inflammation and pain. Steroid injections use medicine to decrease swelling and pain. This study will last for 24 months, and participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of these treatments.

  • This study lasts for 24 months.
  • Participants must be 21 years or older with knee pain.
  • Participants should not have had major knee surgery before.

To join, you need to have tried other treatments for at least 90 days without success and have a certain level of knee pain. If you have severe artery problems or a history of certain types of arthritis, you can't join. The study strives to find a better way to help people with painful knees.
