This study aims to test a new drug called ONO-2808 for patients with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). MSA is a rare disease that affects the brain and can cause symptoms like trouble with movement, balance, and blood pressure. This study is in Phase 2, meaning it's still early in testing, and will compare three doses of the drug to a placebo (a harmless pill with no medicine) to see if it is safe and works well.
Participants need to be in the early stages of MSA—having symptoms for no more than five years—and should be able to walk with or without a device like a cane. They must also be able to take pills. People with other serious health issues or pregnant women cannot join.
- Study involves taking medication and regular check-ups to monitor safety and effects.
- Participants will not know if they receive ONO-2808 or a placebo.
- Those with other neurological diseases or unstable health conditions are not eligible.
