This study is for people with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) and Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). It aims to check if two injections of a drug called REACT/rilparencel are safe and work well. Participants will be split into two groups: one will receive real injections after a kidney biopsy (a small piece of kidney tissue is taken), and the other will have pretend procedures to compare results.
To join, you must be between 30 and 80 years old, have controlled blood pressure, and be on certain diabetes and kidney medications. You should not have Type 1 Diabetes, had a kidney transplant, or recently experienced serious health issues like a heart attack or major surgery.
- Study Length: Participation lasts until the trial ends, with a 12-week gap between injections.
- Visits: Participants will need to visit the study center for procedures and follow-ups.
- Risks: Includes potential kidney biopsy complications or reaction to injections.
