This study is looking at how well a new drug called dexpramipexole helps people with eosinophilic asthma breathe better, manage their asthma, and improve their life quality. Eosinophilic asthma is a type of asthma with high levels of eosinophils, a type of white blood cell. The study will also check if the drug is safe and if people can tolerate it well. To be part of this study, participants need to be at least 12 years old, have asthma that is not well controlled with current treatments, and meet other health criteria. Women who could have children need to use birth control. The study excludes people with other lung diseases, recent infections, or certain medical histories. Participants also should not have taken certain medications or have undergone specific medical procedures recently. The study involves visits, tests, and adherence to study rules.

  • The study involves multiple visits and tests over time.
  • Participants must have eosinophilic asthma not well controlled by current medication.
  • Safety and drug tolerance will be checked throughout the study.
