The study aims to help **African American daughters** make better healthcare choices for their parents with memory loss. There are two main parts to the study. In the first part, daughters and their parents will fill out **surveys** and participate in **interviews** to share their experiences and challenges. This will help researchers understand their needs. In the second part, a smaller group will participate in **focus groups** to help design a special program to improve decision-making.

Eligible participants must be African American, with daughters aged 18 or older. Parents should be 50 or older and show signs of mild to moderate memory loss. All participants need access to the internet and a device like a phone or computer.

  • **Duration:** The study involves completing surveys and interviews, each lasting from 0.33 to 1.5 hours.
  • **Location:** Participation can be done remotely, so you can join from any location.
  • **Privacy:** Data collected will be kept private and de-identified for confidentiality.
