Phase N/A

Metreleptin Effectiveness And Safety Registry is a study to understand how well metreleptin works and how safe it is for people with lipodystrophy in the US and EEA. Lipodystrophy is when body fat is lost in abnormal ways. The study is non-interventional, meaning it doesn't change your current treatment. It observes patients who already use metreleptin, a medicine for lipodystrophy, and collects data about their experiences.

This registry will provide more information on serious health issues like pancreatitis (swelling of the pancreas), liver problems, low blood sugar, allergic reactions, infections, and autoimmune disorders (when the immune system attacks the body). It also looks at new cancer cases and any deaths in patients using metreleptin.

  • Participation involves joining the registry if you are using metreleptin and consent to share your treatment experiences.
  • Patients who are participating in other drug studies can't join this registry.
  • It helps to enhance understanding of metreleptin's effects in real-world settings.
