MS-DETECT: Study to identify early MS progression using MSCopilot®.

Recruiting

Phase N/A

The MS-DETECT study tests a smartphone app called MSCopilot® Detect for people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). MS is a disease that affects the brain and spinal cord. The app helps doctors remotely check how the disease is getting worse. Relapse Activity Worsening (RAW) is when symptoms get worse suddenly, while Progression Independent of Relapses (PIRA) is when symptoms worsen without warning. The study also looks at how easy and safe the app is to use and how happy patients are with it.

Patients will download the app for free. They will take part in 1 inclusion visit and 3 follow-up visits over 18 months. Every 3 months, they will answer questions about their MS symptoms and wellbeing. The study will take place in several countries, including the United States, Canada, and Germany, and include 314 patients.

  • Study lasts for up to 24 months with visits every 6 months.
  • Participants must have a smartphone and be able to use it.
  • Only certain adult MS patients can join, based on eligibility criteria.
