Phase 2

Study Overview: This study tests a new cream, MW-III, for healing burns compared to Silvadene® Cream 1% (a common burn treatment). The focus is on how quickly the burns heal.

What is a Thermal Burn? A thermal burn is a burn caused by heat, like from fire or hot liquids. It can damage your skin and sometimes deeper tissues.

Study Details: The study is in phase 2, which means it is testing both how safe the cream is and how well it works. The study is for adults aged 18 and over who have burns covering up to 25% of their body, with at least one burn that is not too deep.

  • The study involves using the MW-III cream to see how quickly it helps burns heal.
  • Participants should not have infected burns or burns that need surgery soon.
  • The study will not accept people with severe inhalation injuries or other major injuries.

Note: Participants will need to agree to follow study rules and provide informed consent, meaning they understand the study and agree to take part.
