Phase 3

This study is about a new medicine, **venglustat**, for people with **Fabry Disease**. Fabry Disease is a condition where fat builds up in the body, causing pain and other problems. Participants will take either venglustat or a placebo (a pill with no medicine) for 12 months. After that, everyone can try venglustat for up to 31 more months. The study is **double-blind**, meaning neither the doctors nor participants know who gets the real medicine. This helps ensure fair results.

**Key Points:**

  • Participants must visit the study site every 3 months.
  • The study lasts up to 14 months initially, then up to 31 months if continuing with venglustat.
  • Participants must be 16 or older, with specific symptoms, and cannot have certain health issues like heart problems or liver disease.

To join, you must sign a consent form and meet the health criteria. Remember, this study is not suitable for everyone, especially if you have other health conditions. Always discuss with a doctor before deciding to participate in a clinical trial.
