Study Summary: This study is designed to see if adding a medicine called zilebesiran can help people with high blood pressure, or hypertension, that isn’t managed well by their current medications. People in this study might have cardiovascular disease (heart and blood vessel problems) or be at high risk for it. The study will check if this new treatment can help lower blood pressure more effectively.

Eligibility: To join, you must have a history of heart issues or be at high risk, with recorded blood pressures in a certain range. You should already be taking 2 to 4 different blood pressure medicines. You cannot join if you have certain conditions like secondary hypertension (high blood pressure caused by another health issue) or very high levels of protein in your urine.

  • The study involves regular blood pressure monitoring and several visits.
  • Participants will receive a new medication, zilebesiran, in addition to their current treatment.
  • Potential risks include side effects from the new medication.
