This study tests the Impella BTR™, a small device that helps the heart pump blood, in adults with serious heart problems. The Impella BTR™ is used during a surgery to help the heart when it's too weak to work well. It is inserted into the body through a blood vessel and helps move blood from the heart to the rest of the body. The study checks if this device is safe and if it helps patients recover or prepare for other treatments. Once the device is no longer needed, it is removed. The study follows patients for 90 days to see how they do after using the device.
- The study lasts about 3 months, with follow-ups after the device is used.
- Participants need to be adults with severe heart failure.
- The study focuses on safety and effectiveness, noting any problems or side effects.
