This study aims to see if a drug called retatrutide can help lower the risk of serious heart problems or stop kidney function from getting worse. Retatrutide is given once a week. The study will last about 5 years, and participants will need to visit the clinic up to 27 times. To join, you must be an adult with a body weight that gives you a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 27 kg/m² or higher. You must also have either atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) or chronic kidney disease (CKD).
