Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) affects blood flow in the limbs, making walking painful. This study compares two exercise methods for PAD: a smartphone-guided program with coaching, and regular exercise advised by a doctor. The goal is to see if using a smartphone helps people stick to their exercise routine better than usual methods. To join, you must be between 18 and 89 years old, have stable symptoms of PAD, and be able to provide consent. Some medical tests like ABI (Ankle-Brachial Index) or TBI (Toe-Brachial Index) help decide if you qualify. If you have severe health issues like sepsis, critical limb problems, or certain heart and behavioral conditions, you cannot participate.
- The study takes place at Grady Memorial Hospital's vascular clinic.
- Participants will need to attend study visits.
- Smartphone coaching might make exercising easier and more efficient.
