This study is about finding out how a medicine called solriamfetol can help adults with binge eating disorder (BED). BED is a condition where people eat a lot in a short time and feel they can't stop. The study will see if solriamfetol is safe and works well. People in the study will take either solriamfetol or a placebo (a pill that looks like the medicine but has no real effect) once a day for 12 weeks.
To join, you must be 18 to 55 years old, have BED, and agree to the study rules. If you've taken solriamfetol before or can't follow the study steps, you can't join. This study is randomized (which means participants are randomly assigned to treatment or placebo groups) and double-blind (neither the participants nor the researchers know who is getting the real medicine or placebo).
- The study lasts for 12 weeks with daily medicine intake.
- You must be between 18 to 55 years old with BED to join.
- Prior use of solriamfetol will exclude you from participating.
