Phase N/A

This study is about helping children who have had a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). An mTBI is a minor injury to the brain usually from a hit to the head. The study wants to make it easier for doctors to help these children by using new tools and ideas. This will help doctors make better decisions when they talk to the child, their family, and their school.

Doctors and nurses in emergency rooms, urgent care, and primary care (family doctors) are part of this study. Some will learn new ways to help, and some will continue as they usually do. The study will compare these groups to see what works best. The study will last for 32 months, divided into two parts, and will check on the children up to three months after their injury.

  • Study duration: 32 months, follow-up for 3 months after injury.
  • Doctors and nurses will use new tools and ways to help children.
  • Only children aged 5-18 who speak English and have no severe brain issues can join.
