**Thoracic Neuromodulation for Diabetic Gastroparesis Study**
Diabetic gastroparesis (DGp) is a difficult condition where the stomach doesn't empty properly due to diabetes. This study tests a new treatment called **Thoracic Spinal Nerve Magnetic Neuromodulation Therapy (ThorS-MagNT)**. This therapy uses magnets to help nerves and improve stomach function. The study will compare ThorS-MagNT to a fake treatment (sham) to see which works better for reducing symptoms and improving life quality.
- **Study Duration**: This study lasts for about three years, with treatment over a 5-day period.
- **Participants Needed**: 48 adult patients with symptoms over six months will be selected randomly for different treatments.
- **Rewards and Risks**: The study may offer new hope for symptom relief, but benefits over the sham are still being studied.
To join, participants must be adults with moderate to severe DGp symptoms, speak English, and not have certain conditions like recent surgery or severe heart issues. The study includes regular symptom checks and quality of life assessments over a year.
