Phase 1

This study is about testing three different versions of a medicine called **olanzapine**. Olanzapine is used to treat conditions like **schizophrenia** (a brain disorder affecting how a person thinks, feels, and behaves) and **schizoaffective disorder** (a condition with symptoms of schizophrenia and mood disorder). The study lasts **19 weeks** and will help understand how these medicines work in the body, focusing on **pharmacokinetics** (how a drug is absorbed, distributed, and eliminated by the body). It also checks if the drug is safe and if people can handle it well.

  • The study lasts for 19 weeks, including some hospital stays.
  • Participants must have schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder.
  • There are specific health and lifestyle requirements, such as no major health issues and stable smoking habits.

To join, you need to be over 50 kg and have a BMI between 18.5 and 38.0. Women must not be pregnant or plan to become pregnant, and men must use effective birth control. You can’t join if you have other major health problems or a history of serious illness.
