This study focuses on a new program called **Integrative Strong Body and Mind Training (I-STRONG)** to help teenagers with sickle cell disease (SCD) who have chronic pain. Sickle cell disease is a lifelong illness that affects the red blood cells and is common among African Americans. Many young people with SCD experience ongoing pain, which can lead to problems like not being able to do normal activities and having feelings of depression or anxiety. The I-STRONG program is based on another program for fibromyalgia, which involves activities like **diaphragmatic breathing** (deep breathing using the diaphragm), **progressive muscle relaxation** (relaxing muscles step by step), and **guided imagery** (using imagination to feel calm). The study will be conducted with 12 teenagers aged 12 to 18 to see if the program is feasible and acceptable.
- The program lasts 8 weeks with 16 sessions.
- Participants must have SCD and be at risk for chronic pain.
- Aim 2 focuses on testing I-STRONG's feasibility with a target enrollment rate of ≥75%.
