This study looks at children who have asthma that gets worse easily. They will get a shot of medicine called triamcinolone acetonide, which is a type of medicine called a corticosteroid. This study lasts for 48 weeks, and researchers will check how well the medicine is working after 2 weeks. They will also look at how symptoms change over time.
Asthma is a condition where breathing becomes difficult because the airways in the lungs get swollen. Many children with asthma have troubles controlling their symptoms, leading to more asthma attacks. The study seeks to understand symptom clusters, which are groups of symptoms that happen together, to improve how doctors treat asthma. Participants can choose to have one visit and follow-up calls or be part of more visits over the 48-week period.
