This study is for people with major depressive disorder (MDD), a condition where someone feels very sad for a long time. It looks at how safe and effective a medicine called NMRA-335140 is over 52 weeks, which is about a year. It's called an open-label extension (OLE) study, meaning everyone knows they are taking the medicine. Only people who finished a related 6-week study can join this one.

To join, you must have completed a related study, signed a form saying you agree to join, and be willing to follow certain rules about medicine and therapy. You can't join if you have other mental health issues like schizophrenia, are at risk of suicide, or didn't follow the rules in the earlier study. If you had side effects from the medicine before, you might not be able to join either.

  • This study lasts for 52 weeks.
  • Only those who completed a previous study can join.
  • You need to agree to follow certain rules during the study.
