Phase N/A

The CLIP-IT Post-Market Study is focused on seeing how well the Penditure™ Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) Exclusion System works after it has been approved for use. This system is used during heart surgery to help prevent stroke by blocking a part of the heart where blood clots can form. In this study, up to 150 people will get the LAA Exclusion Clip during their heart surgery at different hospitals in the USA. Participants will have check-ups 30 days, 3 months, 12 months, and every year for 3 years after the surgery.

  • The study lasts for 3 years with several follow-up visits.
  • Participants must be 18 or older and willing to sign a consent form.
  • People with certain health conditions, like previous heart surgeries or severe kidney disease, cannot join.

This study does not involve any new medicines, just the LAA Exclusion Clip. If you're thinking about joining, make sure you can attend all follow-up visits and discuss any health concerns with your doctor to ensure it's safe for you.
