Phase N/A

Whole-body vibration (WBV) is a method where you stand on a machine that shakes your whole body. This study looks at how well people can do this at home and if it helps with exercise capacity (how long you can exercise), vascular function (how well your blood vessels work), and muscle function (how strong your muscles are). Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a condition affecting the heart and blood vessels. It's very common, especially if you have diabetes or obesity. WBV might help reduce the risk of CVD by making muscles healthier and reducing body inflammation. Some people can't join the study, like those under 18, pregnant individuals, or those with serious heart, liver, or kidney problems.

  • The study can be done at home, making it convenient.
  • No need for traditional exercise like running or cycling.
  • Not suitable if you have certain health conditions.
