Phase N/A

This study is testing if two programs can help improve stress levels, memory, and overall well-being. One program is in-person, and the other is remote (done from home), and both last for 9 months. The study includes 60 people, especially African Americans, who are more at risk for memory problems like Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), a condition that might lead to diseases like Alzheimer's. The study focuses on African Americans because they have a higher risk of these problems. Participants will engage in activities related to health education, nutrition, and exercise.

  • Duration: 9 months with 3 study visits.
  • Participants: 60 people, focusing more on African Americans.
  • Activities: Health education, nutrition, and exercise activities.

Eligible participants are 50 years or older, speak English, and are either African American or White with memory concerns. People with certain medical conditions or who are unable to understand the study details or are pregnant are not eligible. This study aims to see if lifestyle changes can help prevent memory problems from getting worse.
