Phase N/A

RADICAL PC includes two studies for men with prostate cancer (a type of cancer affecting the prostate gland). The first study, RADICAL PC1, watches men with new prostate cancer or those starting Androgen Deprivation Therapy (ADT) (a treatment that lowers male hormones) to see how it affects the heart. The second study, RADICAL PC2, is a trial to change heart and lifestyle risks in these men.

RADICAL PC1 is for men diagnosed with prostate cancer in the past year or about to start ADT. RADICAL PC2 is for those who haven't seen a heart doctor yearly or are not on certain heart medicines. The studies will help understand and improve heart health in men with prostate cancer.

  • The study involves keeping track of prostate cancer patients for heart risks.
  • Participants need to be diagnosed within a year or starting ADT soon.
  • Some men, like those under 45 or already seeing a heart specialist, may not join.
