Calling All Dads! This study is looking at how the ACT Raising Safe Kids program helps fathers and male caregivers. The program by the American Psychological Association aims to lower child maltreatment (which means harmful treatment towards children) and family conflict. The study focuses on whether participating dads report less anger and violence at home. Participants will attend a 9-week program and complete four surveys. By comparing those who take the classes with those who don’t, researchers want to see if there are improvements in relationships and parenting. The goal is to make homes safer and happier, with less violence.

  • This study lasts 3 years and involves a 9-week program.
  • Participants will complete four surveys.
  • Open to fathers with children aged 1-10 who can read English or Spanish.
